Introduction
iKED SYSTEMS SDN. BHD (which was formerly known as Serambi Saujana) is a 100% Bumiputera owned company that initially began it's operation in January 1994 in general business activities and was relatively inactive. The company was restructured and reactivated commencing from July 1999 after the change of directorship and identified Information and Communication Technology related activities as its core business operation. The company is led by a number of genuine bumiputra entrepreneurs and professionals, and currently having staff strength of 15 people of whom are mostly software engineers and multimedia graduates.

In November 2001, Multimedia Development Corporation (MDC), which entitles our company to the incentives, rights and privileges and thus reflected the strength and capabilities of the company, as MSC Status Company. We are seeking the partnership with other establishments for mutual benefits and is consistent with our motto " Excellent Through Strategic Alliance".

iKED Systems Sdn Bhd, offers services in software development, management, and maintenance, multimedia development, systems and programming, mechatronic engineering, internet technology, web portal, computer training and networking (WAN & (LAN). We also specialized in Jawi and Arabic Based Application.

Our core and evergreen application software, Jawi Pro Ofis School Edition has been presented to 'Pusat Perkembangan Kurikulum' Ministry Of Education Malaysia, for evaluation to be implemented as a computer courseware for Ministry of Education, Malaysia.

We also specialized in critical network infrastructure using open source and free software. Our staff has the credibility with basic networking knowledge and background in Unix and Linux.

Besides that, we also talented in MIS programming. We had developed School Management Systems (SMS Pro Version 2.0), Electronic Financial & Accounting Management Systems for Schools. This system was created to facilitate the staff
and teachers in keeping, updating as well as in analyzing information pertaining to school. E-manufacturing and E-Jentera systems also has been developed for Small Medium Industries (SMIs)

This company is paid up capital is RM 1,500, 000.00 and authorized capital is
RM 5, 000,000.00. The company is registered with Ministry of Finance and has been awarded 'Bumiputera' Status.

On August 2000, iKED Systems has been awarded a Demonstrator Application Grant Scheme (DAGS) grant by National Information Technology Council (NITC) as an e- Pondok Project promoter - a project to boost ITC literacy awareness amongst selected pondok communities in Kelantan and to establish pondok networking to the outside world through Wide Area Network (WAN) technology. This project has been recognized as the 7 best projects, during the DAGS Convention 2004, which was held on 15th January 2004, officiated and graced by Y.B Dato' Seri Law Hieng Deng, Minister of Science, Technology and the Environment.

Besides that, iKED Systems has been appointed as a contractor to develop, redesign and maintain (Islamic Development Bank website http: //www.isdb.org), Saudi Arabia collaborated with JARING Bhd (MIMOS) for a one and half years contract starting October 2000.

Another multimedia and application products that has been successfully developed was Internet based application namely Zaakah Online for Mukmin.com (http://www.mukmin.com) in 1999.

iKED Systems has developed three Islamic multimedia CDs tittles i.e As- Sunnah 1, Panduan Solat dan Zuriat Soleh with the support of Islamic centers.

Recently, we have completed CD- Didik 2 project - Multimedia UPSR CD project between MIMOS and Berita Harian in which Iked Systems has been appointed as a CD developer. MIMOS Bhd also has appointed Iked Systems as a JARING leased line main agent for Kelantan and Terengganu regions.

We also involves in Mechatronic Engine Systems for the Development Of On-line Data Acquisition Program for USM's 'Treadmill Facility' For Hospital University Science Malaysia (HUSM) Kubang Kerian.

Other than that our company also has established a smart partnership with government agencies, MIMOS, Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, Penjawim, JAKIM and educational institutions such as Akedemi Pengajian Bahasa (UITM), Pusat Bahasa Arab Akademi Pengajian Islam University Malaya (APIUM), Unit Teknologi Perisian (UTP) UTM, Pusat Sains Komputer UKM and Institut Kefahaman Islam Malaysia (IKIM).

We also have a good partnership with established private company, such as Sapura Nokia Telecommunications Sdn Bhd, Koperasi Belia Islam Malaysia Berhad (KBI), Ramgate Systems Sdn Bhd and one of the international company, GC Infosys Solutions Sdn Bhd. Our company also has been appointed as a MSC Technopreneur Development Flagship by Multimedia Development Corporation (MDC), which the objectives of the programmed is to support and promote the selected company into international level.
